The 2012 Conference (May 17th and 18th)
ACORN-REDECOM is a cross-disciplinary academic network of research centers which seeks to advance knowledge on the social, economic and political impact of ICT in the Americas. It fosters research and dialog among researchers who examine the economic, technological and policy issues that affect ICT and their impact on development.
ACORN-REDECOM holds an annual Conference. The 2012 meeting will take place in Valparaiso, Chile. The purpose of the annual conference is to bring together scholars and members from the private sector and regulators to learn from the studies and experiences that all of them have encountered as they work in the field of ICT policy. Abstracts or panel proposals can be submitted, and will be reviewed by a Program Committee.
